Mentee portal
The mentee Portal is a website for alumni and students of the University of the Arts Bremen, that facilitates networking and collaboration to start the professional life. The project included creating a concept on how alumnis could collaborate, the main sections of the website and a basic implementation of the features in Drupal.

Approach
A survey with 10 members of the mentoring program of the university of the arts was conducted about their needs to start a career and their expectations about a mentee portal. A benchmark was also conducted on successful alumni portals and the features they offered. A set of features were defined based on the research and interviews, user roles needed for the portal were identified and a metascenario was designed to structure the portal.
A main structure for the layout of each section was defined and implemented, so that a corporate design team could afterwards customize the website styling. Once the implementation was done, a test was conducted with mentees to improve the usability.
